PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton brings the hydrophobics, gloss, and ease of installation in line with the crowd favorite, THE ORIGINAL CERAMIC, all while maintaining and improving upon its already stellar chemical, UV, and heat resistance, film thickness, extreme durability, and depth of color. Due to the increased hydrophobics and slickness, Overcoat may not be required with FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton installations, depending on the customers’ preferences. However, if you do choose to use Overcoat, it is highly recommended to use Overcoat V3.

INCLUDED
30ml (1oz) FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton (enough for up to 1 mid-sized vehicle)
CAUTIONS
Always wear a respirator & gloves during application. Ensure the application area is free of loose contamination.
DIRECTIONS
Prior to application, place the vehicle in a well-lit, temperature-controlled 50°F-85°F (10°C-30°C), contamination free environment. Have plenty of new microfiber towels (4 or more), and 2 - 3 microfiber applicators on hand BEFORE application
INSTRUCTIONS TO USE
- BEFORE COATING – Shake the bottle VIGOROUSLY for one minute. After opening, inspect the neck of the bottle for any hardened coating crystals. Carefully clean the neck of the bottle with a microfiber towel if any appear, as these can drop on to your applicator pad, and scratch the surface during application.
- Next, apply enough FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton to a microfiber applicator to fully cover a single panel such as a door or half a hood.
- Begin by making a “+” sign with the product in the middle of the panel, then wipe around the boundaries of the section, creating a frame.
- Next, fill in the framed area with slightly overlapping straight lines from left to right over the whole panel area. Then switch to up and down straight lines. This cross-hatching ensures a level application.
- Allow FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton to dwell on the panel for 3-10 minutes, depending on humidity and temperature. (Always test a small area to know how the coating will set up in your current climate environment before proceeding.)
- Test if the coating is ready for wiping clear by lightly wiping a small area (4” x 4”) with a microfiber towel in a circle. If the towel wipe reveals a clean area, then remove the coating. If the wiping smears, then allow the coating to dwell longer. Repeat test in 1-minute increments to determine the optimal coating removal time.
- Once ready, wipe off FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton using two clean microfiber towels. Towel A (left hand) will remove (level) the majority of the coating. Towel B (right hand) will remove any remaining residue, revealing a crystal-clear surface.
CLIMATE NOTES
All FEYNLAB® Coatings are subject to different dwell and curing time windows due to humidity and temperature conditions. In General, the higher the humidity level, the quicker the coating will cure. If the humidity level approaches 75% or higher, then consider lessening the recommended dwell and wipe times for the coating. Additionally, moving air will decrease coating dwell times for areas it contacts. Therefore, it is recommended to stop all moving air as much as possible during coating applications to ensure consistency for all portions of the vehicle. Coatings are best applied in temperature-controlled environments of 50°F-85°F (10°C-30°C), with humidity as low as possible.
FINAL INSPECTION
Be sure to carefully inspect all finished panels for any leftover coating residue (high spots) during the final wipe. Commonly, edges, emblems, and other tight areas may contain some remaining residue. High spots are much easier to remove if caught within a 20-40 min window after the final wipe, than later when the coating has set and curing has started.
SHELF LIFE
UNOPENED: 2 years OPENED: 3-4 months (in a normal, climate-controlled environment).
